What we do

Surveys

Our nonpartisan surveys will influence the policy debate with thought-provoking findings that resonate with policy makers and the press. What do people really want? Where are they confused? What fears, values and hopes are driving their views?

Focus groups and personal interviews

Qualitative research that will draw out candid reactions from key groups—folks whose thinking you’d like to understand. Insights from focus groups can help:

  • Fine-tune programs, identifying areas of opportunity and backlash
  • Develop original, groundbreaking surveys
  • Design effective communication strategy and messages

Program evaluation

An in-depth analysis of programmatic activities and outcomes to help you capture the story of your project and help you improve ongoing initiatives. Our work will provide a level-headed, honest reporting of the views of leaders, staff and constituents.

Organizational evaluation

Engage leaders, staff and key constituents about your organization. Find out if goals are clear and shared; if you are structured and staffed properly; and how well time and talent are used.

  • Are your programs inspiring the people in your organization?
  • Are responsibilities clear and work relationships healthy?
  • How is the organization adapting to change and challenges?

Guide to the perplexed

If you need research but aren’t quite sure what kind, we can help you think through what you need. And if you’ve already started a research effort but feel uneasy about where it’s going, we can help you fix it.
